The renowned Burgundy organic winery Domaine de la Commaraine in Pommard has purchased 2.5 hectares of vineyard plots in top locations for an unknown price. They are Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru in Aux Bousselots, Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru in Roncières, plus Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. This means that the Domaine de la Commaraine has six hectares in top locations. Founded in 1112, the winery had around ten hectares of vineyards in historic times. With the purchase of the plots, it now has around six hectares at its disposal.
