The Domaine Clarence Dillon, owner of the Châteaux Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut Brion, has taken over the Grand Cru Classé Château Grand Pontet in St.Emilion. It is assumed that this is to expand the production of Château Tertre Daugay, which was acquired in 2011 and has since been called Château Quintus. Château Grand Pontet comprises 14 hectares of vineyards in a single parcel, which is considered a very high-quality terroir.
