A few days ago a break-in was committed at the renowned VDP winery Egon Müller Scharzhof in Wiltingen. Only labels of the 2018 Trockenbeerenauslese were stolen, the company writes on Facebook. The owners of the winery suspect that fake bottles of this wine have already been circulating. Since all labels have consecutive numbers printed on them, they are easy to identify.

According to the winery, labels with the following numbers were stolen:

Bottle size 750 ml: No. 18, 19, 26, 27, 34, 38, 39, 42, 46, 47, 64-72
Bottle size 375 ml: No. 3-7, 10-20, 25, 29-35
Bottle size 1500 ml: No. 3-8, 10-12, 14-17

Anyone who is offered bottles with these labels or discovers them in any other way is asked to contact the winery by phone or email.
