The Deutsche Hotelakademie (DHA) and wein.plus have agreed on a cooperation to promote professional development in the wine, gastronomy, and hospitality industry.
The goal of the partnership is to provide professionals and executives, as well as interested private individuals, with even better access to qualified training offers related to wine, gastronomy, and management. At the center of the collaboration is an exclusive benefit for Premium Members of wein.plus: They receive a 15 percent discount on all training courses offered by the Deutsche Hotelakademie.
The Deutsche Hotelakademie in Cologne is one of the leading providers of part-time training for professionals and executives from the hotel and gastronomy sectors. Its media-supported blended learning concept allows participants to learn flexibly alongside their jobs and apply practical expertise directly in their daily work. The academy's portfolio includes courses for sommeliers (DHA), F&B managers, and hotel management, as well as internationally recognized wine qualifications such as WSET® Level 2 and 3. The offering is complemented by courses in hospitality management, gastronomy, leadership, and personnel development.
To kick off the partnership, wein.plus and the DHA are planning a joint campaign: Two scholarships for WSET® Level 3 will be awarded exclusively among the members of the wein.plus community. The initiative aims to motivate especially young talents and ambitious wine enthusiasts to elevate their training in the wine industry to the next level.
