David Pearson, CEO of the world-famous Californian winery Opus One, is leaving the company. Pearson will become CEO of the Californian winery Meadowood Estate with a three-star restaurant and boutique hotel owned by the renowned Harlan family of winemakers.
Pearson has been the director of Opus One since 2004. Founded as a collaboration between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Opus One has long been a world-class operation. Today it is owned by the wine and spirits group Constellation Brands. It is not yet known who will succeed Pearson.
