According to the umbrella organisation Consejo Regulador de Cava, they are almost back at the pre-pandemic level. In 2019, exports stood at 163.8 million bottles. They fell to 146 million during the Corona crisis in 2020. Gran Reserva (up 42.1%) and Cava Reserva (up 34.7%) sold particularly well in 2021.
