The Tuscan winery Biondi Santi has released the Riserva 2012 for sale. The classic wine is the last vintage for which estate owner Franco Biondi Santi, who died in 2013, was responsible. The Brunello di Montalcino Reserva comes from vines that are at least 25 years old and was matured for 36 months in barriques made of Slavonian oak. The wine is only produced in particularly good vintages; since the estate was founded in 1888, only 38 Riservas have been released so far. It costs about 450 euros per bottle in Germany.
