The Palatinate organic wine estate Heinz_Pfaffmann from Walsheim is now selling its wines for supermarkets through the Winzergenossenschaft Moselland in Bernkastel-Kues (Moselle). The company, with 160 hectares of vineyards, is one of the largest private wineries in Germany and also the largest member of the Bioland association.

With the concluded agreement, Moselland wants to take up the trend towards ever increasing sales of organic wines, as it cannot cover the demand with its own products. Currently, Moselland member companies on the Moselle, the Nahe and in Rheinhessen produce organic wine on 106 hectares. Thanks to the agreement with Heinz_Pfaffmann, Moselland can now for the first time also bring wines with the Bioland label to supermarkets.
