The French billionaire Pinault family completely takes over the Jacquesson champagne house in Dizy. As early as in February 2022, Artémis Domaines, the holding company of the Pinault family, had acquired 33.5 percent of the shares from the Chiquet brothers. Their father Jean Chiquet had bought Jacquesson in 1974. Jean-Hervé and Laurent Chiquet had been responsible for the wines since 1990. With their uncompromising quality strategy, they have established Jacquesson as one of the most renowned champagne brands. Both will leave the company at the end of the year and only sell the grapes from their 28 hectares of vineyards in Dizy to the champagne house.

Jean Garandeau, sales and marketing director of Artémis Domaines, will take over the management of Jacquesson. The employees in vineyard and cellar will continue to work for the champagne house.
