Austria's winegrowers are taking part in the SolidAHRität campaign initiated by German winegrower Dirk Würtz (Weingut St. Antony), in which donated wines are put together in packages and sold. Many wineries have already sent wines directly to Nierstein to support their colleagues who were badly affected by the storms, especially in the Ahr Valley. Now, the Kremstal vintner Artur Toifl from the Thiery-Weber winery and the Deutschkreutz red wine specialist Bernhard Ernst have taken over the coordination of the Austrian fundraising campaign. As Toifl explained to the Austrian TV station Puls4, he already has nine pallets with 600 bottles each of wine from various Austrian wineries, which will soon be brought to Germany for repacking. The aim is to sell wine packages worth one million euros together with the many donations from winegrowers all over Europe. By 26 July, 10,000 surprise packages had been sent out at 65 euros each. Artur Toifl emphasises that many vintners even donated their top wines. In Austria, SolidAHRity packages are available in the online shop of the Bernhard Ernst winery:
