The German Wine Institute (DWI), together with the trade magazine Wein+Markt, is awarding the Specialist Trade Prize for the eighth time.
In order to support the specialist trade as a place to buy domestic wines with professional expert advice, the DWI and Wein+Markt will this year again award three specialist wine shops that put German wines in the spotlight with their product range and promotional campaigns. The prizes will again be awarded at the Wine Retailers' Day in Heilbronn, which will take place on 13 and 14 October 2019.
The competition winners will receive merchandise vouchers from the sponsors Zwiesel Kristallglas and Howaspeed as well as vouchers for DWI staff training courses. In addition, the German Wine Queen will visit the three prize winners at a press event. For this purpose, the DWI invites the local press to a press conference.
