The Italian top wine estate Jermann in Friuli is taken over by Antinori. This is reported by the "Weinwirtschaft". According to the report, estate owner Silvio Jermann has been looking for a buyer for a long time. He has been the sole owner of the estate with 170 hectares of vineyards since its foundation 40 years ago and has not found a successor in the family. Currently, two producers belong to Jermann: the family wine estate in Farra d'Isonzo as well as Jermann di Ruttars in Dolegna del Collio. Further details about the sale have not yet become known.
