With the third virtual wine tour from 12 to 21 November, the German Wine Institute (DWI) attracted more than 9,000 wine fans. They were able to taste wines from 88 participating wineries on different topics in 22 online events, reports the German Wine Institute (DWI) as organiser. For this purpose, 2,300 packages with four bottles each as well as 50 ml tasting bottles were sent out. The German wine majesties Sina Erdrich, Saskia Teucke and Linda Trarbach, the Masters of Wine Romana Echensperger MW, Konstantin Baum MW and Thomas Curtius MW took part in the one-hour tastings. Hiking expert Manuel Andrack gave insider tips for hikes in German wine regions. After the tastings, the audience could get in touch with the producers in virtual meeting rooms under the title "Meet the Winemaker". The recordings of the wine tastings are available on WeinTourTV and will soon also be available on the DWI's YouTube channel.
