A cellar tour with wine tasting awaits us at the Robert Weil winery, followed by a lunch snack with a view of the Kiedrich Gräfenberg. We continue to the Kaufmann Winery, whose history will be explained to us personally by the owners Urban Kaufmann and Eva Raps during a wine tasting in the newly designed tasting room.
Afterwards, we will visit the Peter Jakob Kühn winery. From a simple winegrower to a biodynamic top producer - we will dive into the history and taste the current vintage.
At Theresa Breuer's in Rüdesheim, we then have the opportunity to take a look around the vineyard. She explains her terroir, which we find in the wines. We end the day with dinner at the Rüdesheim Castle.
We start in the direction of Rheinhessen. Gesine Roll from the Weedenborn winery awaits us in Monzernheim for the first wine tasting of the day. We taste her parade grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
Afterwards, we go to the St. Antony winery, where Dirk Würtz has put together a special programme for us. We will get an insight into the vineyard and cellar, taste the current wines together and the physical well-being will also be taken care of.
We will visit the next two wineries in a double pack: Kühling-Gillot and Battenfeld-Spanier. During a wine tasting, Carolin Spanier-Gillot will explain the philosophy that is reflected in the award-winning wines. We will spend the evening at the winery in Bodenheim as part of the Liquid Life event.
Back to the Rheingau - the day starts in Hattenheim, where we will first visit the Winebank of the Balthasar Ress Winery, followed by a visit to the cellar for wine tasting.
Afterwards, the journey continues to Johannisberg Castle, where tasting is accompanied by historical insights, first and foremost the history of the Spätlesereiter. We will have a bite to eat at the Gutsschänke before heading back home.
