What does "lieblich" mean?
The term "medium sweet" is the term used in German-speaking countries to describe a still wine that has a maximum of 45 grams of residual sugar per litre. At the same time, the residual sugar content must be above the maximum value set for semi-dry wines. This is 18 grams per litre if the residual sugar is a maximum of 10 grams per litre above the total acidity, and 12 grams per litre if the wine contains more than 10 grams of residual sugar per litre above the total acidity.
