Well prepared for VieVinum from 16 to 18 May: For a comprehensive overview of the exhibitors and the rooms in the Vienna Hofburg, we recommend taking a look at the online exhibitor directory. Tickets can also be conveniently booked online.
VieVinum is the major Austrian wine showcase, which means that the majority of the 550 or so stands are reserved for winegrowers from Austria. International wineries from Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Georgia (guest country), Greece, and many more will be presenting their wines.

Visitors to VieVinum 2026 can expect a literally sparkling welcome in the foyer, where Sekt Austria will be presenting a wide range of its three categories. Schlumberger and Kattus, the two major traditional houses of the sparkling genre, will be in the immediate vicinity, complemented by a stand from Weinhaus Döllerer.
The "Junge Wilde Winzer" group and the winegrowers from the Traisental region can be found in the foyer on the right in the Gartensaal. If you keep left in the foyer, you will meet the winegrowers of Thermenregion in the side hall and reach the winegrowers of Kremstal (Prinz Eugen Saal), then the winegrowers from Carnuntum and Wagram (Gardehalle I and II), Kamptal (Forum) and the winegrowers of the Association of Austrian Traditional Wine Estates in the aforementioned regions.
Hard liquor and fine spirits await visitors on the Feststiege (Farthofer, Gölles, Reisetbauer, Pfau), as well as the Morandell wine trading house, the Austrian Wine Academy and the Sommelier Union Austria. Further up the stairs, you reach the Platzl, where you have the option of tasting wines from Wachau in the Metternichsaal next door or those from Vienna (including traditional wineries) or from the Demeter wineries and toa – tastes of Austria & partners in the Vorsaal. To stay fit, you can also visit the Römerquelle hydration lounge here.
The Platzl also leads to the Seitengalerie and the Hofburg Galerie, where there is no way around the winegrowers of Weinviertel. To the left, in the Festsaal, Burgenland flies the vinophile flag, while the Hofburg Lounge on the right beckons with the "United Nations of Blaufränkisch"—accompanied by the sounds of wine from Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Romania. If you stay on course in the Seitengalerie, you will reach the Zeremoniensaal of the Styrian wineries. Representatives of the two Bergland wine-growing regions of Carinthia and Upper Austria can also be found here.

Via the Hofburg Lounge (immediately to the right at the entrance to the Seitengallerie), you reach the Rittersaal via the Trabantenstube, where the winegrowers of the guest country Georgia present themselves. Just further on in the Antekammer are wineries from Portugal, France, Moldova, Greece (the 2024 host country), and from the portfolio of the Derksen wine trading company. If you continue the tour straight ahead, the path leads to the Marmorsaal with exhibitors from Germany and Italy. Anyone looking for Zone Zero "for more courage" for alcohol-free alternatives with its programme of panel discussions will find it one hall further on in the Geheime Ratstube.
On the way back is the Wintergarten, where the Falstaff Lounge is traditionally located. Right next door, the Orchestergang will host a varied programme during the three VieVinum days. Starting with a sensory journey of discovery through the worlds of taste, hosted by the Sommelier Union Austria (Sat, 16 May), continuing with Wein Steiermark (Sun, 17 May) and a large "Best of Sauvignon Blanc" tasting zone, followed by Wein Burgenland with "Junges Burgenland – Next Generation" (Mon, 18 May).
For VieVinum visitors with a thirst for knowledge, it is worth finding the three rooms of the School of Wine in advance—the Schatzkammersaal, which can be reached via Gardehalle II, as well as the Burgraum on the first floor (staircase directly in the entrance area of the Hofburg) and the Künstlerzimmer, via the Antekammer.
