
Mark Barth works meticulously to refine his sparkling wines, which are now at least as important to the estate as his still wines. His "Ultra" made from pure Pinot Noir has long been one of our favourites. If it has to be admitted today that Riesling can also be used to produce real top-quality sparkling wine, this is due in no small part to Mark Barth and his sparkling wines from first and great vineyards.
